TURIN NETWORKS FORMS NEW TECHNOLOGY ALLIANCE PROGRAM

Simplifies Network Integration for Carriers while Strengthening Turin’s iConnect Solutions for Carrier Ethernet, Wireless Backhaul, and Converged Services

Petaluma, Calif., November 11, 2008 – Turin Networks, Inc., today announced that the company has formed a new interoperability-based Technology Alliance Program. By partnering with providers of complementary, best-in-class networking solutions, Turin’s Technology Alliance Program simplifies network integration for customers while enhancing the company’s industry-leading iConnect™ solutions. Technology Alliance Partners comprise both networking equipment vendors and software companies who have successfully demonstrated interoperability with the Turin Networks portfolio. Turin is a leading global provider of innovative Carrier Ethernet, Wireless Backhaul and Converged Services solutions for wireline and wireless network operators.

Turin’s Technology Alliance Program benefits service provider customers by simplifying the management and integration of multi-vendor networks, thereby lowering costs, and speeding the deployment of new services. Partners are selected based on interoperability having been successfully demonstrated either in live customer network environments or in scenario-based lab testing.

“With more than 300,000 products deployed today in wireline and wireless network operators’ access, backhaul and transport environments, Turin has always placed significant value on interoperability,” said Henry Wasik, president and CEO of Turin Networks. “The formation of the Turin Technology Alliance Program underscores our commitment to collaborating with other leading vendors to deliver interoperable, proven solutions to the marketplace that allow our mutual customers to lower their costs and migrate to next-generation services and network architectures.”

In a separate release, Turin Networks also announced the company’s first group of Technology Alliance Partners.
