FORCE10 NETWORKS HIGHLIGHTS RELIABLE NETWORKING AT INTEROP 2007

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 21, 2007 – Force10 Networks®, the pioneer in building and securing reliable networks, will highlight its reliable networking product portfolio at Interop 2007.  In its booth, #1837, Force10 will feature its recently introduced C300 resilient switch, which brings the reliability, network control and scalability IT managers need to ensure their networks are application-ready.

The Force10 C300 combines the modular FTOS software with hardware resiliency and advanced online diagnostics to provide IT managers with the tools they need to optimize their networks.  Additionally, with support for 384 line-rate Gigabit or 32 line-rate 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single system, the C300 provides room to grow while delivering consistent and predictable performance regardless of traffic or feature conditions.

Force10 Networks Vice President of Marketing Stephen Garrison and Sun Microsystem Director of Technical Initiatives Jason Carolan will highlight the trends that are shaping traffic in the enterprise network, specifically examining how software as a service and collaboration tools are impacting wiring closet and data center requirements from the network to power and cooling.  The session is at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, in the Mandalay Bay Ballroom K.

At a lunchtime session on Wednesday, May 23, Force10 and ADC will highlight best practices for building reliable data centers.  The session will explore the technologies that increase application availability and consistent, predictable performance across the network.  It will take place in section H of the South Seas Ballroom at 12:30-2:00 p.m.
