FORCE10 NETWORKS NAMES STANLEY MERESMAN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MILPITAS, Calif., December 6, 2005 — Force10 Networks today announced that it has named Stanley Meresman to its board of directors. Serving as an independent director, Mr. Meresman brings more than 30 years of experience in financial and operational executive positions to Force10 Networks.

As senior vice president and CFO at Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI), Mr. Meresman presided over the company’s finances as it grew from $250 million to $3.8 billion. At Cypress Semiconductor, Mr. Meresman served as vice president, finance and administration and CFO, managing the company’s growth from $2 million to more than $100 million in revenue and successfully leading it through an initial public offering (IPO).

He holds a BS in industrial engineering & operations research from the University of California, Berkeley and a MBA from Stanford.
