OSI SYSTEMS DEPLOYS FORCE10 E-SERIES TO PROVIDE UNMATCHED RESILIENCY, CAPACITY AND PERFORMANCE FOR BUSINESS CRITICAL NETWORK CORE

MILPITAS, Calif., December 13, 2004 — Force10 Networks today announced that OSI Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSIS), has deployed the Force10 E-Series in the core of its corporate network to guarantee predictable performance. With the E300, OSI Systems is introducing a new level of resiliency and availability that is essential to its network.

To eliminate the high costs of network downtime, OSI Systems turned to the Force10 E300 for the foundation of its network. The Force10 E300 aggregates traffic from approximately 500 users in four buildings at OSI Systems’ headquarters, connecting departments and employees across its business groups. With the built-in resiliency of the Force10 E-Series, the E300 eliminates unplanned downtime and ensures predictable performance.

The Force10 E-Series family of switch/routers includes the E1200, E600 and E300.
