FORCE10 NETWORKS TO EXPAND RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WITH NEW FACILITY IN INDIA

MILPITAS, Calif., October 20, 2004 — Force10 Networks today announced that it will expand its global research and development program with the opening of a new facility in Chennai, India. The facility will launch hardware and software development efforts to further advance the Force10 TeraScale E-Series family of switch/routers as well as the design and development of new products and features. Regional business development, sales and customer support teams will also be based in the facility.
