FORCE10 NETWORKS AND META GROUP TO EXPLORE TRUE COSTS OF NETWORK OWNERSHIP IN WEBINAR SERIES
MILPITAS, Calif., October 18, 2004 — Force10 Networks today announced that it will explore the impact of high density systems on capital and operational expenditures during the webinar, “TCO Modeling and Understanding Where the Real Costs Reside,” on Tuesday, October 19, at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET.
Stephen Garrison, Force10’s senior director of corporate marketing, and David Willis, vice president at META Group, will discuss the network requirements that are driving the demand for higher density. Willis will also leverage his white paper, “Less Is More: The Total Cost of Ownership in High-Capacity Data Center Networks,” to examine the capital, management and operational savings of high density solutions. This webinar is the first in a two-part series titled, “Understanding the Cost of Change in Today’s High Performance Networks.” The second webinar, which will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 16, will examine the total costs of ownership in a data center.
