FORCE10 NETWORKS JOINS INTERNET2
MILPITAS, Calif., June 29, 2004 — Force10 Networks, the pioneer in high performance switching and routing, today announced that it has joined Internet2®, the university-led advanced networking research and development consortium, to develop advanced network applications and technologies. Internet2, a partnership among academia, industry and government, is creating leading-edge networks that will ensure the rapid transfer of new network services and applications to the broader Internet community.
