Henry Wasik

Henry  Wasik: Chief Executive Officer and President

Henry Wasik has served as president and chief executive officer of the company since November 2004 and as a director since December 2004. Prior to that, he served as a senior vice president of the fixed communications group for Alcatel-Lucent SA, a provider of solutions and services ranging from backbone networks to user terminals for operators, service providers, enterprises and consumers, where he served from October 1999 to April 2004. At Alcatel-Lucent SA, Henry was responsible for all aspects of the global business operations of multiple product lines related to the fixed communications group. Henry holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bridgeport and a master of industrial management degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

 

James Hanley
President Field Operations

James Hanley: President Field Operations

James Hanley has served as the company’s president, field operations since April 2009. From November 2008 to March 2009, James served as president and chief executive officer of Force10, and he served as senior vice president of worldwide sales for Force10 from September 2007 to October 2008. Prior to Force10, from August 2006 to September 2007 James was senior vice president of worldwide field operations at NeoScale Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class security solutions for data storage. Prior to NeoScale Systems, Inc., he managed the worldwide channel at CA Inc., a developer and marketer of information technology management software, as senior vice president of worldwide partner sales from May 2005 to July 2006. Earlier, James held executive roles in sales, field operations and channel development, including leadership positions in London and Hong Kong, at EMC Corporation, a provider of information infrastructure systems, software and services. James holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics with a minor in accounting from Claremont McKenna College

 

Bill Zerella
Chief Financial Officer

Bill Zerella: Chief Financial Officer

William Zerella has served as the company’s chief financial officer since July 2006. Prior to his current position, Bill served as chief financial officer at Infinera Corporation, a manufacturer of high-capacity optical transmission equipment for the service provider market from December 2004 to June 2006. Prior to Infinera, Bill has held various other senior level financial and business management positions at companies including GTECH Corporation and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Bill holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the New York Institute of Technology and a master of business administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

 

Ebrahim Abbasi
Executive Vice President Corporate Business Development and Technology

Ebrahim Abbasi: Executive Vice President Corporate Business Development and Technology

Ebrahim Abbasi has served as executive vice president of corporate business development since December 2009, adding responsibility for engineering since March 2010, operations since April 2010 and the chief technology office since May 2010. Prior to joining us, Mr. Abbasi was senior vice president of operations at the packet networks division of Ericsson, Inc., a global provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators, since January 2007. In this role, Mr. Abbasi was responsible for the packet networks division’s operations, information technology, customer service and corporate services. Mr. Abbasi joined Ericsson as a result of Ericsson’s acquisition of Redback Networks, Inc., a provider of subscriber management systems enabling internet service providers to provide broadband solutions, where Mr. Abbasi served as senior vice president operations and customer service since October 2001. Mr. Abbasi received bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran.

 

Leah Maher
Vice President and General Counsel

Leah Maher: Vice President and General Counsel

Leah Maher has served as the company’s vice president and general counsel since August 2007. Before that, she served as executive vice president and general counsel at SpectraLink Corporation, a designer, manufacturer, and seller of workplace wireless telephone systems, from September 2004 to May 2007. At SpectraLink, Leah was responsible for corporate governance and compliance, contracts, litigation, merger and acquisition activities and integration and the intellectual property portfolio. Leah holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and government from Colby College and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Akron School of Law.

 

Mary Cole
Vice President of Human Resources

Mary Cole: Vice President of Human Resources

Mary B. Cole joined Force10 in November 2006 as a senior director of human resources and was promoted to her current position, vice president of human resources, in November 2008. Prior to joining  Force10, Mary had been a consultant to Force10 from November 2005 to November 2006. She held several human-resources related senior management roles at Juniper Networks, Inc., a provider of high-service network solutions, from August 2000 to October 2005. Mary holds a bachelor of science degree in community health education and gerontology from California State University, Chico.

 

Stephen Garrison
Vice President of Marketing

Stephen Garrison: Vice President of Marketing

Stephen Garrison has more than 19 years of experience designing strategic marketing programs for the telecommunications and networking industries. Prior to becoming vice president of marketing, Garrison directed the company’s corporate marketing and customer activities. Prior to joining Force10, Garrison was the senior director of marketing at Riverstone Networks, where he was responsible for building customer programs. Earlier, he served as the director of marketing at Cabletron Systems. Garrison received a B.S. in Ceramic Science from Alfred University and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT. He also holds four patents and sits on the board of directors for the Ethernet Alliance.
